[Translate to Suisse(FR):] Lama Yeshe is the brother of the deceased ROKPA co-founder and former president of ROKPA, Dr. Akong Tulku Rinpoche. He is also the abbot of the Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland, the first and largest Tibetan monestary in the West. 

Gelong Thubten

Gelong Thubten studied English Literature at Oxford University. In 1993 he became a monk at Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland. Since 1997 he lectures internationally on meditation and Buddhist philosophy. He has worked extensively with companies and organisations, teaching stress-management techniques. Thubten is currently the Director of Kagyu Samye Dzong Scarborough – establishing a centre there for the prevention and treatment of stress, which will have charitable activities for the homeless and the poor, e.g. stress-management services for drug and alcohol addicts.

Andreas Vollenweider

Grâce au son si particulier et inoubliable de sa harpe, Andreas Vollenweider a obtenu une reconnaissance internationale. Ses 15 albums ont été récompensés dans 45 pays par des disques d'or et de platine. Parmi de nombreux autres prix, il a obtenu le Grammy Award (1987) deux nominations aux Grammy-Awards (2000-2007) ainsi que le "World Music Award". Andreas Vollenweider se produit régulièrement lors de concerts dans les auditorium les plus importants du monde – par exemple à New York (Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall), Londres (Palladium), Los Angles (Universal Amphitheatre), Sydney (Opera) ou Tokyo (NHK). Il est associé dans des projets communs avec des personnalités telles que Luciano Pavarotti, Bobby McFerrin, Carly Simon, Zucchero, Angelo Branduardi ou Hans Zimmer. Sa musique exprime une forte et ancestrale nostalgie de la paix. Ses chansons ont été par exemple chantées en Afrique du Sud lors des marches de la liberté légendaires durant la lutte contre l'apartheid.
